This book presents detailed illustrations of the famous Messerschmitt Me 163, a German World War II rocket-powered interceptor fighter aircraft. Designed by Alexander Lippisch, it is the only rocket-powered fighter aircraft ever to have been operational and the first piloted aircraft of any type to exceed 1000 kmh (621 mph) in level flight. The book contains 40 colour profile views of the colours, camouflage and markings of examples in both German service and those of other users.
